Navaratri and Durga Puja are observed in many Hindu traditions as a period associated with devotion, balance, and strength. While practices vary widely, both are connected to honouring feminine power and moral courage.
For some, these days are ceremonial and communal. For others, they are cultural, symbolic, or quietly familiar.
I want to acknowledge Navaratri and Durga Puja without collapsing their differences or assuming how they are observed.
The themes they carry — resilience, balance, and care — may resonate beyond any one tradition.
