The Autumn Equinox marks a point of balance between day and night, and a seasonal transition toward autumn in the Northern Hemisphere.
For some people, this moment is spiritual or ceremonial. For others, it is simply a natural marker — a reminder that cycles shift whether we track them closely or not.
I want to acknowledge the Autumn Equinox without assuming how it is observed, or whether it is observed at all.
Balance is not stasis. It is movement held carefully. The equinox offers a quiet opportunity to notice what is being gathered, what is being released, and what needs attention as the season turns.
