Today is Christmas Day for many people around the world.

For some, it is a deeply religious day, marking the birth of Jesus and centred on faith, worship, and long-held traditions. For others, it is cultural rather than religious — shaped by family, chosen family, food, rest, or simply time away from work.

For some people, today is joyful and full. For others, it is quiet, complicated, or tender. And for many, it passes without ceremony at all.

At Consent Culture, we want to acknowledge Christmas without assuming what it means — or whether it means anything — to you.

If today is joyful for you, we hope you’re able to enjoy it without pressure or expectation. If today carries grief, loneliness, or strain, we want to name that too — you are not alone in that experience. And if today is simply another day, that is just as valid.

What matters to us is not how a day is celebrated, but how people are treated — with care, consent, and respect for difference.

Wherever you are, however today lands for you, we’re glad you’re here.

Wishing peace, gentleness, and moments of ease — today and beyond.
