A Closed Triad is a specific type of consensual non-monogamous relationship structure involving three individuals who are all romantically and/or sexually involved with one another. In this arrangement, each member of the triad has a connection with both of the other members, creating a cohesive unit where everyone is aware of and agrees to the nature of the relationships.

Within a Closed Triad, the boundaries are typically established to ensure that the relationships remain exclusive to the three individuals involved. This means that while each partner may engage in romantic or sexual activities with both of the other partners, they generally do not seek additional romantic or sexual connections outside of the triad.

For example, if Partner A, Partner B, and Partner C make up a Closed Triad, Partner A may be in a loving relationship with both Partner B and Partner C, while Partner B and Partner C are also connected to each other. In such a setup, the dynamics and emotional bonds are often complex, requiring open communication, mutual consent, and negotiation to navigate the needs and desires of each individual.

The Closed Triad structure can foster a strong sense of intimacy and support among the three partners, as they collectively share their experiences and challenges; however, it also necessitates ongoing discussions about boundaries, jealousy, and emotional needs to maintain a healthy and fulfilling relationship for all involved.

A Closed Triad refers to a relationship dynamic involving three individuals who are romantically or sexually involved exclusively with each other, with no intention or desire to add additional partners to the relationship.

The term "closed" indicates that the triad is a closed system, meaning that the three individuals involved are not seeking to form connections or relationships with others outside of the triad. This can include emotional, romantic, and sexual exclusivity within the group.

In a closed triad, all members typically have equal standing within the relationship and are committed to each other in a mutually agreed-upon way. Communication, trust, and boundaries are essential in maintaining the balance and harmony of the triad.

For example, in a closed triad, individuals A, B, and C are all romantically involved with each other exclusively and have decided not to engage in relationships with anyone else outside of the triad.
